earth tones

Here is a little series from this morning's life drawing class, earth mother // earth tones. I continue on my adventures in color, these in limited palette. In life drawing classes my output is usually more than any other artist in the room. I like to do many small drawings such as these three 4X6 inch ink and watercolor paintings done in one 10 minute pose from an inspiring and dramatic blind model named Sherry.

I applied to a cool job as researcher in new media arts at the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology. In come the rejection letters and out go the applications. Next application is to be a generalist in English and Fine Arts in a cold clime.
