Networked Art by Craig Saper

I'm glancing at Networked Art again because it's the only other academic published research on mail art that talks about the network as the artwork. Also Craig suggests that we may want to collaborate on a publication. A very nice thing to think about on the other side of graduating.

Networked artists attempt...to stave off homogenization, although they nonetheless wallow in the systems and mechanizations of mass distribution. (page 149)

The works are about process, contingencies, and group interactions,not lasting truth or eternal beauty. (page 150)
