Online facilitator training

I am taking an online training course which is taking up a lot of my time. If I am successful I will start teaching art via distance learning. The facilitator training throws out an intense and demanding set of assignments. I have been working the training between moving and job applications so I've been way too busy. Here is a little question assignment.
What software have you worked with that might enhance the experiences of your colleagues? and my answer:
I have a blog on LiveJournal that I use to post current work. The LiveJournal "friends" feature allows me to keep up with other artists, family and friends. I am linked to several communities such as Color Theory which is almost a purely graphical discussion (almost all pictures and very few words). The professional art educational application of a software web log that supports graphics is that students can create a running chronicle of their work to integrate images and critiques together.
