drawing views

I'm in the top 10 again at www.artwanted.com with a colorful double gesture postcard called Hyper-Hip Parisians. I like artwanted's feedback system -- other artists critique new work and their comments are emailed to you. The casual comments and the random gatherings of newly loaded artworks from diverse media and aesthetic visions reminds me of a mail art show. It's a funky place. I put the gestures with collaged text in the comics category. I put other stuff in the fine art category.

I'm still reading Gertrude Stein biography and selected writings and I'm inspired to write word portraits of my friends. I've been sick and coughy for days so it's been good reading/napping time.
