A couple of days ago I told K about my problem opening my classes' image files one-by-one to grade, how long it took, how frustratingly inefficient it was, and ta da - he programmed a script (greasemonkey) that takes all the pictures (attachments) in the message boards (my class is a message board), opens them all, and puts them on one HTML page. In effect, his program creates a gallery for all the student work for each assignment.
Now that's what I call a boyfriend! So now I have an efficient system for grading the drawings.

Maybe I will have some time for art today.

Yesterday I went to my pedicure place and now have toes painted in a color called "no, I'm not a waitress" or "waitress" for short. Nice rich fall color with a hint of opal. and Happy Birthday Miss Ruby.

Greasemonkey is uber-cool. Lots of good scripts out there.

Knut had to mess with it for hours but when it worked suddenly it opened hours worth of previous wait times at once in a few minutes. Now I can see the class assigments all at once as it should be displayed without having to open them individually and create my own gallery. Whew! I'm very happy about the change. I was becoming a grumpy file opener even though it was in the interest of art teaching.
