Yesterday I sent out invitations to the show and now to the task of matting and figuring out the display. I went to see the outdoor space and chat with Dan. There will be three artists in front of End of an Ear and I'll have two card tables. Maybe I'll do some demos and let kids make their own we-on-wet watercolor paintings. That will be more fun than simply flogging watercolors. I've already matted about half but still lots to do before next weekend. Will get some waterproof fabric for the tables which will fold into rain protection if the weather is wet. Also have to figure out signage. Putting on a show is a step-by-step process with many details. It's a creative performance in itself quite separate from the work, although the work is the central theme of the show.
