Modigliani Print

I found this print at a furniture store called Uptown Modern in Austin. The store owner, Jean bought it at an estate sale in Dallas. It's a silkscreen on canvas that is attached to a board. Part of the silkscreen is the signature Modigliani and the date 1916. I love it and would like to know more about it's history! It's a fabulous addition to my new redesigned studio. Facing the door, it's the first thing you see when you walk in.

Modigliani silkscreen

(Anonymous)
I have this same silkscreen and love it as well. I purchased it at an antique store in West Palm Beach. The owner, who was closing her shop as she was elderly, said she was able to verify that the signature is authentic but not sure about the rest. I think the subject is Jeanne Hebuterne, who was his last mistress and mother of his daughter. Soon after Modigliani died, she walked backwards out a high floor window and fell to her death at age 21. This is based on what I have pieced together and could be wrong as I am by no means an expert on Modigliani or art. Thanks for posting it.
