There are two discussions right now that are interesting. One is a mail art show by absolut vodka using the term "mail art" and a discussion of a letter from absolut vodka corporate lawyers for a geocities mail art show using the absolut style of design that is a real mail art show, only maybe all digital telling the artist to cease or something. I didn't read it all that carefully with all the legalese. And the other discussion is about those two artist stamp makers who send each other artistamps through the mail successfully and then sell them. The post office has kind of played along with them but this time they sent an anthrax themed stamp and the post office officials got mad. The only information I really have right now is the discussion on artist stamps, no reporting of background or newspaper stories. I'm not sure that these are good examples of what goes on in a message board and how information is passed along but maybe it is. They are good stories and specific and dramatic. I too could get sued by absolut vodka for my dissertation. That would be fun.
