Here is my mail art bio  — honoria

Honoria Starbuck, Ph.D. was born in 1947 in Miami, Florida USA. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology. She earned an interdisciplinary Ph.D. from The University of Texas in 2003 for research on the mail art network’s uses of the Internet. The doctoral research dissertation, The Effects of the Internet on the Correspondence Art Network, was published by TAM and can be downloaded from http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/thesis-honoria/10274757. Honoria created the first Internet opera, honoria in ciberspazio, using the collaborative participation ideals of the mail art network to create a libretto by over 60 authors. Honoria took over responsibility of the Electronic Museum and Mail Art when it had to move from CrackerJack Kid’s original servers in 1997 and worked with Kiyotei on mailartist.com

Honoria has been involved with mail art since 1988 and hosted the Kiss show in Austin ,Texas in 1991.
