Going through the postcard chapter again with the computer reading it to me. Plugged into earphones at coffee houses. Now I've typed in this round of edits and can go on to refining the conclusions. It was hard to choose which pieces of art to use to illustrate different ideas for this non-traditional data chapter. Now that I have chosen it's easy to read interpretations into them because I speak fluent mail art and postcards are easier to talk about than interviews. I'm looking forward to the holidays to get more done. I had a nice meeting with Anna yesterday who pointed out all kinds of new edits for the interview chapter. She also mentioned that I should explain a bit about Dada, Fluxus, and Futurism since the artists in the interviews mention them. Also explain more about grounded theory. Sigh. How to distill Dada, Fluxus, Futurism and grounded theory into tiny chunks that support this research? It's always something, isn't it?
