Week one the first chapter, about the creative process, talks about thinking, seeing, and doing. These 3 parts can be done in any order, overlap, repeat, and change each other. I ask the students to use simple shapes and eraser stamps to create a cartoon of their personal creative process. Then students move the designs around into the categories that they think is the strongest representation of thinking, seeing, or doing. Some students are surprised by the interpretation of their designs by their classmates and we all learn about each other.
