Portrait day in Observational Drawing

On portrait day we apply the light logic from lemon day on a model, usually another student in the class.  The lights are low and the light is focused on the side of the model.  This helps students to see the planes of the head and determine the up-planes and down-planes upon which light or shadow fall.
