There is the thread that both CrackerJack Kid and Judith Conaway mentioned that some mail artist see themselves and the mail art network as a forerunner to the Internet. There was a mention of that same topic in an article shortly after Ray Johnson's death. Maybe I should collect those three sources into a small section of the outline. Can I ask CJK and Judith to talk a little bit more about the subject of mail art as a precursor to the Internet? I could ask John Held to comment and I should look through the artistamp archive and see what Fricker said in his Aggressive School of Mail Art ways.
