Personal branding session

The sun is shining. I met with John last night and he said he was honored to be working for me and spent twice as much time as a regular session. He said we might use my Starbuck name because it's already branded, big, and memorable. He says my most marketable qualities are my abilities to gather in chaotic data/information that is in motion and make sense out of it. I'm glad I integrated the honoria and Madelyn resumes into a single CV. My mind is still spinning with the John session. My confidence is higher. I like having someone else "take me to market." I can concentrate on my understanding of what I can do and how to best represent my strengths and let him understand the marketing aspects of my personal brand. I think he's really good at what he does and I'm sure it is money well spent. My next job will not be another bottom-runger.

Yesterday I went to Barnes and Noble and looked at books by the Dalai Lama. It helped me be calmer and more creative at work, which may be doomed.

Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend -- or a meaningful day.

I'll go to half price books and get a book by the Dalai Lama and read more calming centering thoughts.

Meanwhile I have to put together the required papers for the 19th when I turn in the pink slip. I think the only thing left to do is to continue to format the CV in the Template style. I just have a few more citations to fix. I hope that End Note will auto format all the other citations automatically like it's supposed to.
