This morning I formatted pages 74-131 of the dissertation. I'm up to Chapter 6, the chapter with lots of illustrations. It will be a bit more complicated than the text chapters but it's the most fun of the chapters. Formatting is like quilting. The slow but sure approach get's the job done. DeLayne offered good line edits and I will go through those as my last pass through the document. My next plan had been to revisit the diss in terms of publishing but Anna and I are going to work on the opera libretto instead. It's much more fun to work on the libretto instead of worrying about academic publishing. I will continue to evaluate my academic future with John and other support system friends.
